PING AN Group has established a dual-drive strategy of "Finance + Technology". Under this vision, Ztenith implemented RPA automation process construction for PING AN Group Insurance, exploring, evaluating and analyzing automation opportunities, and designing target business processes.
PING AN Group has a large number of repetitive, standardized, time-consuming and error-prone business processes. For example, the monthly closing check process for life insurance organizations in the finance department is a process whereby in the days from the end of each month to the beginning of the month, business personnel from hundreds of second- and third-tier branch offices need to download multiple monthly closing statements from the business system for data verification, and the entire process takes a great deal of time and is prone to errors in manual verification, and personnel changes are also frequent.
Since June 2021, we have been collecting process requirements from the Customer Service Department, Finance Department, Underwriting and Claims Team, Sales Support Department and other departments, sorting out the business processes, designing and implementing the robotic processes, and finally completing the deployment of the robotic processes on line.
Currently, more than a dozen processes from multiple business lines have been deployed online in batches, reducing unnecessary duplication of work and improving work efficiency for business personnel from different departments. In particular, the monthly closing inspection process for life insurance agencies in the finance department has been centralized by the robot at the same time from being handled separately by business personnel from hundreds of branch agencies, and the process has realized thousands of equivalent manpower hours per month for the finance department after going online. With its help, the efficiency of process processing has been significantly improved, the original business workload has been released, and employees will have more time to devote to high value-added work.
